OREO
The friendly little dog, called Oreo. This is a fun little book that tackles dyslexia, a small story for inspiration and some educational information about dyslexia, focuses on educating and assisting children with tackling this issue.
The characters are mostly dogs, expect for a young girl, that's based on the author, she's a girl who found ways to tackle her dyslexia and of course she's also the owner of Oreo.
It's a classic adventure about the first exciting day of school.
There's also an English version.
The Planner
The project evolved into a small planner book, for kids to collect stickers with various positive tasks regarding positive thinking, helping others, reducing screen time and being a good friend.
Kids (parents) could track their day and collect various stickers to put in the book.
It was also made in various languages.
Kids (parents) could also log their success online.
And they collected points and stickers (of course this was all parent controlled). Parents could give out rewards of their choosing... it's all about fun and being positive.
Oreo even has a theme song, so if you are interested and
can read Icelandic (or at least try), you can sing a long:
Áfram nú - Hundurinn Oreo
